Al'tria sat cross legged in a large tent in the center of the Gur'ai camp. It had taken hardly a night of work to construct the camp full of tents with pens for the mounts and a short wooden wall with stakes, good wood to take back to Gur'ai after the feud.
His scouts had set about gathering information around the smaller settlements of the trouble near the city of Nerai, aparantly a group of warriors not long ago had persued his sister as she managed to get into the city and left not long after, but aparantly the city was still 'besieged' by an Elven force but that did not bother him the Elves would keep the horsemen of the plains in one place for him.
Not long before reaching the plains a scout had reached him with a small pack full off documents which he had only just managed to open, what it contained made his face split into a wide grin. They had gathered stone to make the planned wall, a few siege engines that were aparantly excellent and then the next thing he saw made his eyes glow, a copy of the ballista plans.
Now he formulated the plan in his head, surround the city, keep a force near this village called Nerxis and a reserve force of Predatiar riders to combat any threats from this Gotar and Nerai. From their the construction of a few of these Ballista should make it possible to break the walls of urgor and then to kill these Valheru and let one escape as an example to these dogs.
The next day he rose from his sleep in the command tent and talked to the clan chiefs that accompanied him and spoke "I take 1000 men to Nerai to meet with the Elves, the rest of you march north to Urgor and have a force of 2000 hold down the city of Nerxis and the predatiar riders hold back to respond to attacks from gotar, south or Nerxis. I will catch up not long after so build siege near Urgor and await my return....and keep the pole spears close....we know what these valheru can do...."
With that he took 1000 men and within 2 hours he was on his way to Nerai.

After a few weeks of travel and preparation a new warcamp was set up a days march from Urgor itself. No patrols could possibly stand against this army and Al'tria had picked the site for camp carfully. The camp was in a large open expanse of land with a forest behind, the camp itself was walled with wooden walls but the main reason for this site was the large ridge to the left of the camp, he had set the camp up so any wishing to gain access to the ridge would need to go around the camp, not an easy feat.
Most importantly now he had sent his messenger group of five warriors with word, and in the meantime he had his Karata and clan chiefs train their men in the use of a new weapon, a long spear which from accounts of the battle along the coast these weapons would prove devestating to the enemies troops and alongside this he had numerous men trained in archer and replaced two of the three spears for short bows. He planned for battle to come swift and had of course entrusted karata to deal with the towns....

A plains messenger appeared in far from the camp, overlooking the officially enemys camp... and in several moments, he turned his horse and urged him to ride as quickly as he could, in the way to Nerai...

Efren rode his horse, more asleep then awake. He had seen the signs of fire, hoping that it would mean a place to rest for the night, only he didn't know what he was riding into.
He brought his horse to an immediate stop, and called out, "Are ye friendly to a kind traveler?"

The guards quickly took the messenger from his horse and half dragged him to Altria, while the Dwarf was given an area of free tents in which to rest for a night before war came.
Al'tria looked down on the messenger, what could he want?

Efren, grateful for the place to stay for the night, walked around his tent. The commotion outside wouldn't allow him to sleep, soon curiosity took its toll. He walked out of his tent, and stood by the entrance and watched as thousands of soldiers were walking around, conversing with each other. He walked up to one of the soldiers.
"So... you guys preparing for war I'm guessing."

The warrior nodded but remained at his post not looking as he answered "The humans of Urgor and their allies from accross the sea have kill our people, hunted our leaders kin and rumour has it attacked our city. Blood feud has been declared, we shall not rest until the pitiful leaders of Urgor and their allies lie in blood".

The messenger kept struggling, kicking around him... probably knew who are these people.
"Let me go, you got no right to stop me! Let me go I said!" he turned againts one of the Gurai who was holding him and bit into his arm.

The gurai dragging the messenger were outside the command tent as he bit the warriors arm. the warrior harldy flinched, he dropped the mans arm and punched him square in the face and a large crack echoed as the node bled, it was obviously broken as the warriors literaly threw the man into the command tent and spoke "Lord, this plainsman was found entering the camp"

The messenger held hand over his face, frowning on Altria and spit blood several times before talking in his own language.
"Ta grua ktis di nea!" [You got no right to do this!]
Then he took a small stone from the ground in the tent to his other hand, holding it in the way to show AlTria that he will defend himself if it will be necessary.

Al'tria stood slowly walking to the man and kneeling beside him, he looked the man deep in the eye. His own face was one of weary experiance, while this man, he was some farmer plucked from the plains and in one swift movement he had twisted the mans arm and taken the stone from his grasp then stood and spoke "If you wish to leave this camp alive, you will give me what ever you are here to give and leave without another violent act, or else i will kill you were you stand"

He catched his hand in pain, looking back on AlTria and showing his teeth.
"If I leave the camp... want it you who took me here for no reason!" he spit on ground once more "...and I would say that its you who-"
...he stopped in the middle of sentence, considering that it may not be good to finish it in current situation.
"I got nothing to do with you, I was only scouting the lands around Nerai in case of Urgor soldiers around! Let me go!"

Al'tria grinned and spoke "Go back to your leader with this message, we are going to destroy Urgor and if he brings an army north then we will treat it as a threat, also inform him of the 10,000 troops we have marching north....i am sure he will be interested in all this"
With that the warriors dragged the man and almost threw him out of the camp.
