Bylin lies on the largest river, at the point closest to Tal'gathir. It serves as a port and a place for foreigners to come. It is the only elven settlement that is land based, and has no buildings in the trees. It is easy to find as it lies on the river, and features embassies to all of the Elves' allies. Bylin is built in a strategic place, as the landscape of the region leads lost travelers towards it. While many would call it magic that drew them there, the truth is slight slops and tree formations subtly guide the subconscious towards this haven. Because of its easy to find nature, the Rangers are especially weary of potential attackers, as now not only is one of their settlements not concealed, it is in fact intended to be found.

Efren drank from the river as he rested. The rides were long, tiresome...lonely. He had made almost no companions since he left home. The land of the elves was less than a days travel, he was just skeptical to go there. "What will they think of a dwarf in the city? An attack, or something, considering I've been in this armor for a few weeks. Maybe a bath will be best when get there... If I get there."
