I still think we should keep the gold/economy for leaders, but the XP bit , I think we might want to reconsider it. Your thoughts?

My thoughts about it?
XP is a great idea. but we need to make a other sytem. This get xp for posts sytem is based on something i an ohter players dont know. We dont know what we get xp for, how we get xp precily and how much.
We should also lower the xp because 2800 xp for one skills maxed out is much. considering we all have eye on 3-4 means we need like 10k xp because you get like.. 75 xp for 5 posts (and reaaal big onces) this'll mean we need a good while to get to the max level.
There needs to be a clear sytem on the xp. Because what makes this forum differnt then most IS the xp sytem.. Its just not really worked out.

hmmmm well it would be alot easier without XP, and i dont argue with the amount of XP given or needed for things otherwise we will have hundreds of level 10 swordsman running around. Either a more defined system which will be work could sap the fun from the RP when u have to consider the sytem.
You could keep it, its a decent idea alright and not bad as it stops people over powering characters. I think if you get rid of it then you will have to put in the rules that people have to RP their characters growing otherwise complete noobs will post an 18 year old character capable of dragon slaying, casting mega strong spells and beating master swordsman.

The main point behind the XP thing is to promote slow growth. Level 10 skills are very thoroughly epic. I mean, a level 10 swordsman is ready to become a god, which, quite frankly, we don't want everyone being. That being said, it makes who gets to be a god much harder to decide without XP. Without the XP system would work perfectly fine if everyone knew where to draw the line, but that is where our largest problem is.

It's whenever one of your posts does something productive, usualy. Combat, doing something that would improve one of your skills, politics...
