I was thinking, a good way to help us get people to join, would be an incentive bonus for people who get someone else to join. Something small and not overpowering, but most people here don't seem to be all too eager to get more people It would be kinda silly to give people an item/gold, because it'd be hard to find a RP excuse for that. Any suggestions? Feel free to also discuss other potential solutions for the epic-lack of cool people dillema. Getting real ads somewhere would be good, but the whole ring thing seems pretty dead to me, and the other obvious RP sites, I can't find a way to advertise...

OK I'm noticing seeing as you want more people to join, there is far to much reading. I've got a few people to and I've tried others but as soon as they see all the reading they get bored. I realize that reading is a must but when you're trying to get people started like with picking a character may-be you should cut down just a little bit? I'm not trying to be offensive I'm just observing that people are willing to join until they see that they have to read a lot.

Unfortunately, all the best RP's require a bunch of background info. Not ALL of it is needed to be read right away. I mean, if you want to play a totaly ignorant human (there's lots of those) you only need to read combat, and your race's page.
I COULD start responding to all new characters with a list of the bare minimum reading for that particular character class, though it is recommended you read everything so you know what's going on...

Its true it would be easier for the new poeple if the current activity would stop, but...
Everytime ive been on some forum, once the activity stops, it usually stops everything and I mean >everything< on the forum...
...guess it would be far more useful just to update the nations folders by "news" if you want make something more easier for the new ones to orient in here, not stop.
