The Kingdom of Krondor
Main City: Ypres
Geography : A small, by mountains surrounded valley, existing of grassland. Three passes give entrence to the valley but the Krondorians will build three fortresses in each pass so no one could enter the valley without being unnoticed.
Population : probably over 100 000 persons. 20 000 of them are living in the city itself ( the elite Valheru lords and their families 7000 ) included.
Army: Each boy and girl of 7 years gets trained into the art of battle till they are 16 years old. This basic training of 9 years consist out of training in archery, swordfighting, and horseback riding. After 9 years they can decide to join the army or not ( All Valheru sons join the army anyway), where they get a special military training. After 2 years they become soldiers and are allowed to join a regiment of their choise. The Valheru sons get an extra year of training to become officer.
