Efren walked into the high counsel's chamber and waited for them to be seated before speaking. "Counsel men, I leave you in charge of the kingdom in my absence. I am going to be taking a... Diplomatic Trip."
Efren looked them over. "I am going to travel the world we know to see if I can establish friendly terms with the nations around us. I do not want to send more messengers, for the last group we sent were killed. Unlike most messengers, I am able to defend myself if I am to be attacked. If I do perish on my journey, you are to be left in charge, and choose my successor."
Efren bowed and left the chamber. He went to his personal chambers and began to pack the necessities he would need. He grabbed his bag, and began to make his way down to the base of the mountain. The Dwarven people stared in awe as he was walking through the tunnels. Efren gave them all a friendly smile, and proceeded to the gates. At the gates he was met by a few of the Dwarven Horseman.
"So you truly are leaving then eh?" Captain Osgould asked him.
Efren nodded. "Yes Osgould, I am going to leave. We need to get more information of the world around us, not just believe what we only know. Anyways, if we can live in peace with the other nations, we can learn other traditions as well."
Osgould nodded and hopped off his horse. "Here take my horse. He is well trained, and is not afraid to ride into battle with you my king."
Efren nodded. "Thank you my friend. Keep things here in order for when I return."
Osgould nodded and bowed. "Yes my lord."
Efren got onto the horse with some trouble. He had not ridden horses much in his life. He knew the basics, and that was it. The horse began walking, and the gates opened before him, and as the gates opened, so began his journey.
