The rangers in the streets where in groups of twenty, laying low. One of the groups had been spotted, however. Ten climbed on to the roof, crouching so they where hardly visible, five on each side of the alley. Five on the ground drew their blades and blocked the alley. The last five staggered themselves behind the blade-wielding rangers, so they could shoot in between. Anyone who came near would be shot point-blank with longbows, and if they got even closer, they would see why Elves where renowned swordsmen. ((A reminder to look at those stats before you decide not to die instantly. Rangers are expensive )) The barrier parted in a spot, and Alkartir stepped through, walking towards Kinether. "To answer your probable question, some of our rangers have been portaled into your city, merely to secure the gates should we attack, and they will not harm anyone, unless they themselves are attacked."

He fold his arms, leaving his wand lying in front of them in the air.
"Im afraid that this isnt reply on all my questions. Merely to secure the gates should we attack, you say? Maybe you should know that the people inside... and even the army near the forest, and I believe that everyone from the Plains in here... takes this as an agression. Very... straight agression from your side without any visible reason! So dont expect that your soldiers in the city will not be attacked.
Why are you doing all of this?" He tried to ignore the alarm calling of the horns from inside the city.
It was saying the guards found a group of intruders and are now waiting for support of the mages... 10 mounted guards stood in the entrances to the alley, 5 from each side, blocking the way out. They got their weapons drawn, mostly it were kaquon throwers.
"Whatever is your purpose in here, I urge you to lay down your weapons, intruders. We got you encircled." spoke one of the guards.

Sena stood there on her horse.. sighing, Alktair's magic was almost as great as her own.. her anger was controlled by the screams of desperate people, all scared and not knowing what to do..
She had moved back, when hearing the first hostile comments, and that was handy.. she grinned and watched how she was outside, the green barrier.. and watched Kinether.. she got off her horse, and started to gain magical energy, not to fire.. atleast not thistime..
The elven mages where chanting.. to distrupt the green force would mean.. with a grin on her face she started to move away, and watched the elven mages.. a sigh left her lips, while she moved her left arm to the right, it was pulsating with magical energy.. almost to much.. for her capcity.. a risk she had to take

Dionne had seen the resent events, she had been quiet but had not seen a reason, for alktair to attack.. did he had powersurge.. or had he misseen a word of the plain humans? There was no hostile reactions, the plain humans had been fighting.. not even with them, even protecting one of there allies.. she looked to Alktair.. and sighed.
"Alktair.. why? they didend do anything wrong.. "
she stood on the wrong side of the magical barrier.. on the side with all the humans..

"Alkartir, tell my brother to send my bone weapon, Quiver and bow to the norteren forest, where i will go to, make sure no Kronderian troops follow me.. i cannot use resitance now.. also, say him you got my greatefull thanks.. for helping me, i will repay this later.. somehow"

"Well, fortunately for you, it seems our demand has already been met. See, Elves don't take lightly to you harming our friends, particularly one that is of the Royal Family. We will likely leave now, but for future reference, I highly advise that you leave our allies alone, we may not chose to give you a warning next time."
The rangers in the city received their orders from scrying mages. The siege was up, time to leave. "You may have us encircled, but that means little when you are outnumbered two-to-one, and face adversaries who could kill you blindfolded. We urge you to step aside, so there need be no real casualties. The Elves are planning to leave now, so just go back to your families, be at peace." To emphasize their point, they where all pointing their longbows at the humans, easily point blank range. While this was happening, the unspotted groups made their way stealthily through the town, then over the walls, to rejoin their race.

* After Alkatir made one of his threatning talks again, the Krondorians appeared from the north. In their black armour, closed helmets and armoured horses they almost looked like demons out of hell. As they entered the circle around the elves, they immediately lifted up their shields after the elves raised their bows. Draken rode his horse next to Kinether and grinned*
" Hope these folks aren't staying either cause I would like a spot left at the tavern for me and my men"

He narrowed his eyes, gazing on Alkatir in not so much friendly way.
"Harming? Royal family? For me every life got the same price, not like for you it seems, who would like to waste the others ones." he couldnt finish his sentence without that remark. "I dont care about any royal origin. Anyway, you got the luck that I didnt let my men to do what they really desired... and for what they would have their right in fact, I believe."
He took out the horn and blew on it, outvoicing the other ones of the guards from the city.
The alarms from the city silenced. The guards let the elves go...
"Well I guess this is solv-..."
Another horn from inside the city. And one more. And several mores, whole bunch of them!
Kinether looked back to Alkatirs face again. "One more thing. Im not sure if you even care about consequences of your impetuosness, but you know what are the horns saying now?"
He let Alkatir be only in the desparate sound of the horns for a while before he spoke again.
"The fire that you elves, if I guess right, started is spreading. Nine people already died because of it! Including - if you even know the word - several children in their own houses that turned into inferno!" he couldnt hold himself shouting. "And it IS still advancing, guy, it is still advancing!" With that he turned angrily away from Alkatir to Draken.
"Let those >noble elves<..." he said with sarcasm "...leave, because I doubt they ever care about anything. Oh, wait, maybe about the trees lifes as their friends Gur- whatever they are named. Then you can camp in here."
After that he blew his horn once more and the gates of the city started to open slowly again, he rode inside it hastily... and the army that was standing aside of it all rode down to the city. In which, despite a lot of people trying to stop it by the water from the river, fire was easily growing stronger, because of all the building were wooden...

* Draken slowly road towards Alkatir and looked down upon the elf. His shiny dragon-similar eyes were visible from behind his black helmet.*
"Usstan tlun zhaunus dosst lorugen orn tlu flamgra 'zil al 'zil nindol darla, abbil d'l'Gurai." [ I'm sure your tress will burn as well as this town, friend of Gurai.] * he says to Alkatir and then he turned around and rode with his men into the woods to gather the few dead Krondorians who had fallen."

A lone running figure appeared on the road leading from the east. It was slowing down and starting to run again repeately... until it reached Alkatir. It was Cesia, breathing heavily after the long run, wet of sweat.
"Hey-o!" he leaned against a lone tree next to the road "Did you guys just forget me there or what was that! I thought I wont catch up with you again and-"
He looked on the army. "Owh d-...whats happening in here?! I thought you were kidnapped or what, but luckily I could trace the footprints of horses... hey, dont do that next time, allright? Anyway, what are you... we doing here?"

Urain finaly got out of the palace and was greated by what? an elven army outside the gates, rangers at every gate, fire in the city and who at the center the one person he inspected to keep the balance the ruler of the elves. His face was calm but inside fury awoke, the fury of Eis at the fact a plan to combat a coming threat had been thwarted by her own creation and Urain fueled by this fury made his way to the town center.
As Urain reached the center he looked to Alkartir his face no longer a mask but open fury writen across it as Eis almost controled his emotions determined to get the point across as winds bellowed down from the heavens knocking down surprised soldeirs even making the rangers need to find extra support as the gust grew in strength as tiles flew off buildings into a swirling whirlwind in the sky. Days of planning for a coming threat and the elves, Eis creation had stumbled in and made an army arrive from no were for what? to save some lesser human from a lost realm and thus slowling the human armies from marching to fight Urgor? Urain no longer controlled himself as his hand gripped the hilt of his blade and it flew from his sheathe as he stood in stance openly ready to fight completly stable even in the harsh and unforgiving winds as he screamed in a crystal clear voice booming over the sound of the vortex above "I am Urain, Paladin of Eis your god!"The figure not Urain nor Eis allowed the words to sink in before continuing "My children you meddle in affairs that are not your own, you have endangered a plan to help these people achieve balance and now all my teachings for achieving balance are not upon you as you besiege our last hope at achieving balance once more. You will remove your troops, you will leave this place and leave these people in the hands of my Paladin!" With that the winds stopped, the debris fell and disitergrated into an invisible barrier as Urain shook his head thinking to himself, thank you for leaving me in this mess great mistriss but then he noticed his blades, they were almost shining silver and had a faint glow and he had no doubt he had been given a gift to help incase this became sour......
(I belive i am allowed to do this as the paladins are meant to maintain balance and many of these elven actions, like teleporting rangers who you stated as practicaly unbeatable into the city, shielding troops stopping them attacking and besiegeing the city and not allowing them to act these could all be argued easily to be godmodding)

((Alkartir is in the plains now. Gods seldom intervene, only when it's a really really big deal. While they CAN take over a Paladin like that, they don't usually yell at a leader for something other then genocide. As for the rangers, I merely meant with the groups of guards that would be wandering around. Set up defensively, twenty rangers can do more then a 1:1 ratio. The shield was made by the 1,000 rank 6 wizards, besides, I know to take a mental note of how much my wizards have done. After all that portaling, if they took heavy bombardment on the shields (which they would drop once their own archers where allowed to fire back), they wouldn't be razing the town with a spell. I do believe I let them act, so sue me if I do a good job with what I have. Be thankful my friend never got around to taking up the Gnomes, what those guys can do when played smart would be painful.))
A million potential replies floated into Alkartir's head, but for some reason, insaulting an Elemental God didn't seem wise.

( but RP isnt about playing smart to outwit people and stuff, its about having fun, thus we should be putting down restrictions on what wizards can do because sorry if i find it hard to believe any amount of wizards can teleport a huge army of elves and all those elves were somehow battle ready at just the right time and how is casting a shield over all his troops allowing him to act? also consider it usualy takes weeks to muster and ready a force of 15,000 for humans so realisticly a force the size you told me on msn was here it would take at least a few days to organise)(and this is a really really big deal because last i checked you have troops in Nerai and are slowing the civil war that Eis wanted to restore balance to the plains thus you would think Eis would be just a little pissed)
