((If they are grouped together, a single wizard can portal a lot of people, just by holding up the same portal for a little while. The shield was only anti-arrows, since the elves are mostly range-based, they would throw it down at the first sign of an attack on them, so they could open fire. As for elves being battle ready so fast, think about it this way: they didn't need to gather supplies, rangers carry everything they own on them, blademasters carry the one thing they need, their swords, and wizards/sorcerers just need their minds, which they have. So it's really just a matter of getting the people in settlements to a wizard. Eis is about keeping things the way they are, while mixing things up to keep it fresh. She would be mildly uspet if we razed a town when there aren't many of that civ's settlements left, but mixing up the war by putting Elves in it is a different story.))

Al'tria strode silently into the city of Nerai, a city still filled with elven warriors he found it funny at how the pitiful plains people had not shown any sort of resistance to the Elves. Nonetheless he carried on walking three spears in hand, buckler straped to his left arm and his Hura tied to his belt as he walked followed by his own host of warriors. As he reached the center of the city he noticed Alkartir but he was not calm, nor happy nor patient in his search and he stopped in the center of the square, his men fanned out spears held ready as they regarded ALL men and Elves with suspician as Al'tria spoke aloud "Were is my sister!" as he spoke it he drew forth his blade and awaited a responce.

((They would be outside the city now.))
"She went north-east once I set her free. A few Elves are bringing her her weapons, if you go with them, you should catch up, assuming you can keep pace with the rangers." Alkartir changed his town from casual conversation to a more polite warning. "Please sheathe your weapon, hostilities aren't needed between us."

He remained frustrated, his sister was always wild and uncontrolable but this foolishness to move while being hunted further from safety wasnt helping. He moved passed the elf his face a mask of rage before turning around throwing his weapons to the floor in anger and almost screaming. He then spoke calmly "Sheathe your weapons, we shall not dance the spears here this day" As his men sheathed their weapons he picked up his own and spoke to the elven leader "We have declared blood on these monsters from the north, their city shall burn, their towns will be destroyed and these...these dogs from across the sea shall all die at our hand!"

Alkartir thought about this for a moment, then spoke. "If you are asking for support, we will not." From the sounds of it, Al'tria wanted to massacre these people, with little more reason then already paid revenge. True, the Elves and Gur'ai where allies, but not yet friends.

Al'tria quickly replied "I do not wish support, the honour is ours to dispose of these invaders from the sea and any who follow them" he waited a moment thinking then replied "But, if you see my sister be sure to take her and escort her either to your forests or to Gur, either way i want her safe when i return" with that he simply left, he was angry and his temper strained but he refused to wait, refused to stop till blood was paid in full...

Alkartir nodded, then turned to the adventure party. "We'd best be going. We should make haste north, once we are gone the army will leave." Alkartir gathered his food supplies, and then set out, jogging north. Humans. They can be something, can't they? They remind me of you when you get mad. Alkartir forced the connection to break. He knew he was still young, and sometimes foolish, but comparing him to a human was an insult he wouldn't simply let slide. Ilthir will need to explain to Alkartir's mother why he has nothing to report about her precious little son.

((By now, all of the Elves would have returned to Elvandir, and the adventure party would be well away from the town.))
