Kinether was returning home, thinking if that two tribes will finally stop that senceless fight... and not only those ones. His thoughts were running from one thing to another, about the plains, tribes living there... friends around, the freedom, markets with Urgor... stubborn barber...
He was arriving to main gate when the horsemen messenge, Fenrai almost crashed into him. He appeared so unexpectly and with such haste!
"What the heck is happening, Fenrai? Are you blind?!"
The messenger looked exhausted, sweat running down on his face. So does his horse... but something more was in there. A fear.
"Im sorry, sir, but..." he stopped to take a breath. "...leave out that s-..." "...Quoa is under attack!" WHAT! Which tribe- Its no tribe, sir! They are some strangers, they came from... "Strangers?!" Kinether could see the picture from his dreams clearly again. Big city... in fire... people slayed... was it this...?! "I wont let that happen! Fenrai! Get a rest for hour or two! I need everyone capable of fighting from the plains on tomorrows morning! Here! Were going to war!"
Kinether turned his horse rode into Nerai in haste.

It was an early morning when a sound of wooden horns echoed on the plains around Nerai. Horsemen were gathering to ride to defend Quoa.
That sound awaked Kinether in the library. He was lying on the table, with head on opened books... "Uah. Nothing learned. Wonder what I should do to learn something from these..." he raised on chair and rubbed his eyes. Suddenly a vision came to his mind... ~ It was him as a child... in Quoa? Sunny day... He was talking with his mentor... Ioran? Was this his name?
"I cannot learn that!" he shouted, throwning books down on city street. "I simply cannot!" Simply annoying kid, thought Kinether. One problem... I was really like this. "It is cause you really cannot..." said his mentor, Ioran calmly, certainly amused by annoyed pupil. "But why!" small Kinether kicked to the books on ground. "Try to find out yourself, Kinether." replied Ioran with small grin. Kinether looked on the books with anger. He wished he could burn all that crap full of cursed exercises and lists of handsigns and... whatever...!!
The books suddenly burnt in flames.
"You see, Kinether. Your power isnt in learning from books." said his mentor amused by kids power "You was born as magician, thus dont need to get it by reading difficult books... what more, you got the sign." "Sign?" asked small kid. "Your eyes. Idont know what it means, but it got the colour of god of Fire, Paerai. You should be glad for such..." "Ye, for that others kids are having fun from me!" ~ Kinether wanted to see more, but it went out. Like a dream when you wake up... Another blow of horns.
Yes, today they were riding to Quoa... will he see his former mentor again? Even after their friendship worsened a bit, he would like to see him...
He left the books on the table without any more sight on them and went out.
Most of the Plains soldiers were waiting in lines already when he rode out of Nerai´s gate. He looked on the squadrons... niru-men... kaquon riders... around 4 large squads of mounted mages... even Nerai´s elite keresmen with swords were there... no bowmen, as the would just slow down the party. But where is Fenrai?
Soon his answer came. Young messenger jumped ahead with his horse and stopped right in fron of his "sir."
"Sir!" he said, as usually catching breath. he was probably riding around the plains through whole night... "No sir!" Kinether sighted. "S-aerehm ...except of this all..." he nodded on the soldiers, "I got news from Flaion!"
God, please no attack on them... thought Kinether.
"There was another attack. All the men we dispatched..." Kinether felt something bad happening. "...they were attacked by some unknown troops and Gotarians. Are are... dead. Flaion docks were burned down again..."
Kinether set his teeth. Again! Villages fighting each other when someone outside is waiting for enslave everyone... the cities... burning...
"How many!" he cut his thoughts. "Around 8 500 niru-men, all 750 kereshmen, 3000 kaquon riders and 400 mages, sir!" "So no one from Urgor." he replied coldly. "...and several more villages that denied to help, sir." added Fenrai. "Iwu and Nirois?" "No, sir. Everyone from these two are here!" replied messenger with kind of happy voice. "Everyone got enough time to come and we got no more to waste." said Kinether after a while. He turned to waiting riders. "Everyone! This is the day we will fight for Quantilians, for the freedom of Plains! Keep that in mind and... RIDE TO QUOA!"
With echo of thousands horns, quantilian riders rode into the plains on south-east, to help Quoa.
