Kiam sat on a bench in one of the Academies many training rooms his armour on and his practise blade laying on the floor infront of him. He was sweating from the hard training literaly moments after he arrived with the elven army, he lifted a fine elven glass of water to his lips and drunk deeply. He watched as other warriors practised their art on each other, he knew he would need every ounce of skill he could muster if he was to adventure with the Elven lord, he knew it. He had hoped to find another memory to be unlocked on this training session but none came, his mind was clean and empty as it always was. He thought maybe he needed to find somthing new....
As he placed the glass down upon the floor Alkartir stepped through the huge wooden doors and into the training room, he bore a blade so he was here for training.... Filled with an unknown feeling he leaped to his feet kicking his blade into his hand and strolled toward the Elven lord. He stood before him and said "My Lord, a duel, a practise anyway with our blades before our jounrey?"

"Why not?" Alkartir said, "I came here to train anyways." Alkartir put down his moonblade, then took a dull one off of one of the stands. Alkartir unclipped his cloak, and let it fall on to the floor beside his blade. He held the training blade in front of him, then moved, in the defensive stance he had been shown, towards Kaim. When he had gotten close (the shape of moonblades called for close combat), he did a quick slash with the blade, aiming to hit Kaim in the stomach.

Seeing the sudden quick move of the blade, and while still not in stance, he made the effort to leap back to avoid the blade. Quickly he got into stance with his moonblade low infront of him and his right hand up near his face for quick manouvers. He knew he was the better swordsman after his great work in the training rooms, and for a human he knew he was fast and intended to use this to his advantage. With a swift move he slashed with his blade only to leap of the ground in an attempt to kick his opponent in the chest.

Alkartir took the blow to the chest, tumbling backwards. He hit the ground hard but kicked up right after. That'll bruise, for sure. Alkartir didn't think he stood much of a chance in full blade combat, so he decided to make use of his true skill. Alkartir swung his blade, aiming to nock aside Kaim's sword. Focusing his will on his left hand, he struck at Kaim's chest with an open-palmed strike, that if it connected, would release a pulse of magical force.

Seeing the young Elven lords attempt to strike his blade aside he ducked low and came back up. He tryed to turn and launch another kick toward the young Elf but was met by a sudden flow of magic that sent him a few feet back. He stood swiftly kicking his blade back into his hand and standing in stance once more. He looked on more causiously, he didnt inspect magic to be used and now knew that the field was even once more as he charged in his blade gliding through the air to strike the young lords chest...

The magical attack had taken far more out of him then he had origonally anticipated. Standing there, only half paying attention, he saw Kaim's next strike coming. In a quick attempt to dodge it, Alkartir jumped to the side, but not in time. The blade struck Alkartir's right shoulder, and he winced in pain. The sudden blow almost caused Alkartir to drop his blade, but he caught himself in time to hold on. His right arm hurt too much to even make a decent opening for an offhand strike, so he resorted to range. Extending his left hand, he remembered his last attack, and changed his plan, to one that would consume less of his energy. A small blast of sand flew out of Alkartir's outstretched hand, flying towards Kaim's eyes.

Seeing the sudden magical assault once more he swiftly turned to face the other way to avoid the sand getting to his eyes. Instead he found himself in the wrong position and thus he couldnt effectivly attack back as he turned once more while getting back into stance, his blade in his left hand.

"Ok, let's take a little break, for now." Alkartir sat down on a bench, as a Cleric ran towards him, healing his few wounds. After the cleric had finished with Alkartir, he moved over to help Kaim.
After Alkartir had rested sufficiently, he got back up, resuming his battle stance.

Unlike last time he stood in his stance ready, he knew his opponent and knew his weaknesses. He closed his eyes, cleared his mind and allowed his spirit to take over. He felt his mind calm and he felt as if in a dream as his blade moved cleanly through the air. He slashed wit his left toward the right, he then followed through with the feint to aim a kick with his right leg toward the Elf once more, he knew the tactic worked before but again?

Alkartir recognized the tactic, so when he saw the foot coming, he focused his will once again onto his hand, this time more controlled, he struck out, aiming to hit the heel of Kaim's foot as it came towards him. He was channeling enough force to break the heel, and maybe enough to nock him back. (Not that it mattered, it's hard to fight on one foot.) Let's see you fight on the floor.

Surprised by the sudden force of energy he opened his eyes as his leg become a sea of pain, he lay on his back upon the floor unable to move his leg, he could feel the muscles within torn from the force of such magic. He thought to himself, at least he wont be stupid enough to try that again. He attempted to get his blade into a decent position fo fight from the floor, even down he would fight...

Alkartir took a step back, well out of the range of Kaim's blade. He raised his left hand, conjuring a little orb of water, that floated, suspended mid-air by Alkartir's will. Looking away from the water, over to Kaim, he shot it at Kaim's chest hoping to drench Kaim, his clothes, and armor.

The water engulfed him, in normal times he would have laughed as water drenched every inch of his body but instead he called for a cleric and his leg was fixed in no time. "I think we should get going lord, this training will kill us" He laughed and returned the training blade.

Alkartir nodded. "All right. I probably am needed back in House Madyrdadi anyways. Best of luck, until we meet next." Alkartir saluted Kiam, then gathered his things and left.
